Beautiful summer rain brings back great childhood memories of running around in the rain with my two older brothers and their buddies from the neighborhood…(yes, I was the pesky little sister hangin’ with the guys). Kids just having simple fun in the warm summer rain and playing in the creek that runs through the neighborhood. I was usually the one digging for the worms and my beautiful Mom…always a lady…wasn’t so thrilled about it. She understood even when I was a little kid, I had to touch the earth and at 64, I’m still playing in the dirt with the worms.

I was working out in the yard and garden this morning when the rain started and I thought, what the hell…it’s a beautiful warm rain so I’ll keep going…and I enjoyed it thoroughly! Not so sure our sweet pup enjoyed it as much, but he hung with his Mama, right at her side anyway. It’s amazing how a beautiful memory turned a bit of a dreary day into something warm and lovely! It’s all about the Loving memories that we create in Life so create a lot of beautiful memories for those you Love. Peace on this beautiful day.
